Here are the details of the Spring Pickleball Program at the Arena.


We are very pleased to be partnering with the Town of Deep River to introduce pickleball at the Deep River Arena. Over ten weeks starting in April our goal is to bring more new players into the game and to provide organized coaching, drilling and fun competition for everyone who loves pickleball. Details below.   • Deep River Arena, 6 full-sized pickleball courts


  • April 24 – June 29, 2023 (10 weeks)



Monday nights, 6:30pm – 8:30pm – Drills Night, Open Play Night

  • Open to all levels of current players

  • Professional drill night instruction and coaching available

  • Open play courts

  • Fee: $85 + HST

Thursday afternoons, 2pm - 4pm - Adult Introduction to Pickleball, Open Play

  • Adult Introduction to Pickleball in partnership with the Town of Deep River

  • 4 weeks beginning April 27

  • Instruction sign-up link and fee through Town of Deep River will be announced shortly

  • Open Play for all levels

  • Open Play Fee: $85 + HST

Sunday afternoons 2pm - 4pm - Ottawa Valley Open Ladder Spring  Championship

  • All levels

  • Two tier ladder play: up to 3.0; over 3.0

  • Spring Championship final in June

  • Open play courts if available

  • Fee: $85 + HST​

Value Play Packages

  • Monday Drills Night and Open Play Thursday: $150 + HST

  • Monday Drills Night and Ottawa Valley Ladder: $150 + HST
  • Thursday Open Play and Ottawa Valley Ladder: $150 + HST
  • ALL IN, Monday, Thursday and Sunday: $200 + HST​​


Early-Bird Pricing



  • Safety eyewear and court shoes are strongly advised

  • All participants must sign a waiver



  • Deep River Pickleball has twelve loaner paddles for anyone who needs to borrow one (first come, first serve)

  • We also sell a full range of paddles, balls and other equipment if you require your own

  • Deep River Pickleball is pleased to recognize the partnership with the Town of Deep River in establishing the courts at the arena and supporting adult, learn-to-play pickleball

The Deep River Pickleball group on Spond has almost 70 members from all over the Ottawa Valley. We use it to post updates, send invites, book games, send texts, etc. Everyone is welcome.
