What to Look for in a
Pickleball Coach
Here's some things to look for if you're looking for a good coach.
Trained
Even natural coaches and expert players teach better when they understand how. Check for certification.
Consistent
Putting the ball where a student needs it is key to stroke development.
Heading 4
Experienced
Concise
Great coaches relate to the realities of both the game and learning the game. Experience is a must.
Talking isn't coaching. A good coach knows when they've said enough. Talking more isn't teaching more.
Motivating
Everyone does better when they are pushed and applauded.
Goal-Oriented
Every lesson should have a goal - and a plan for getting there.
